MAC “Heroine” Lipstick Comparison

I compared Heroine to two lipsticks I currently own: Covergirl’s Lip Perfection Lipstick in “Divine” & Maybelline’s Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick in “Brazen Berry.” Out of the two, I would say that Divine is closer to Heroine. The purple tones are much more pronounce & it’s more opaque than Brazen Berry. Both are creamy finishes, while Heroine is a matte finish. I wouldn’t call either of them dupes for Heroine, but wearing a darker lip liner underneath is always an option.

Small Makeup Haul - [ 4.6.12 ]

Tried to go on a beauty fast & not purchase any makeup, but that failed horribly. Decided to pick up the highly raved Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadows in “Bad To The Bronze” & “Tough As Taupe”. Also got two more colors of Covergirl’s Lip Perfection Lipsticks in “Heavenly (260)” & “Darling (395)”. Since I already own a majority of their bold colors, I bought some nude/pink lippies for more everyday wear. I’m in love with Covergirl’s formula & I’d buy the lipsticks in every color if I could. (I’m still hoping they make a creamy, bright orange.) Along with those lippies, I also got Wet ‘n Wild’s Silk Finish Lipsticks in “509A (Cinnamon)” & “511B (Nouveau Pink)”. Never tried those before, but I thought for 93¢ each, why not?

My New Covergirl Lip Perfection Lippie In Spellbound (325)

• *It’s showing up a bit lighter on camera because of the flash.* Those who’ve seen my past post on the Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipsticks know how much I adore them. I plan on getting all the colors I want. :D

—- I LOVE these CoverGirl lipsticks! I only own 3 colors right now, but I plan on getting more. Seriously one of the best drugstore finds ever. =]
