As some of you may already know, CVS has been having a HUGE Milani sale over the past 2 weeks or so. From what I’ve read on other blogs, the Milani products that are 75% off are being discontinued. I’m not sure if the sale is still going on, but I went to 4 different CVS this past weekend & a majority of the products were gone. I really wanted the Mineral Blushes, but I wasn’t able to find even 1 at any of the locations I went to. Boooo! D; However, I did find products that I’m very happy with. The thing about this sale though is that each location varies. For example, some products were on sale in one location, but weren’t at a different location. So weird. I kind of wish I scanned everything I saw, because some of the products I got didn’t have any stickers, but I found out they were on sale when I scanned them. If you plan on going, GO RIGHT NOW!!! Hate to sound cheesy, but the proverb, “The early bird catches the worm” fits this situation. Those who knew about it first had the best picks & the late ones, like myself, only had a limited selection to choose from. WOMP.
Anyways, I’m rambling. Let’s get on to what I found. I hit up 2 CVS on Saturday & 2 more on Sunday.
First Location:
• Nothing. Zilch. Nada. =[

• Eye Tech Liquid Eye Liner in: Charcoal (03) - $2.07 (Saved $6.22)
• TOTAL (with tax) = $4.76 • SAVED = $13.26

Despite failed attempts with falsies back in my high school days due to lack of knowledge, I decided that I wanted to try wearing falsies again, so I went to Target to see if they had lash glue. Lo & behold, they had the DUO Dark Tone Lash Adhesive. After I saw that, I decided to browse around & decided to pick up 2 Sinful Colors Polishes. “24/7” which is the neon pink, which I already have, but it was running out so I decided to pick up another one. It’s honestly the prettiest neon pink ever! Perfect color for your toes! ;) “Aquamarine” is a gorgeous blue & I picked it since I don’t currently own colors like it.
After Target, I decided to drop by the 99¢ store to pick up some lashes. I already had some at home, but I wanted to stock up just in case. Only picked up 2 pairs: S47 & S99. Also decided to browse a little & saw 2 trays full of Revlon lip products. To my surprise, there were alot of Colorstay lip products. Never tried them before, so I decided to try out a few. They usually retail around $9-10, depending on where you get them, so for 99¢, I couldn’t resist. I wound up getting:
• Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze in Neverending Nude (505)
• Colorstay Soft & Smooth Lipcolor in Plush Peony (260)
• Creme Gloss in Fiercely Fuchsia (020)
Since I’m a lipstick junkie, my fave out of the three is the Colorstay Soft & Smooth. It’s creamy & applies so smoothly. Definitely thinking about going back & getting more shades. I’m not sure if all 99¢ stores have these Revlon products since each one varies, but I suggest you RUN to your local store if you have one just to see. Such a great deal!
