New 2014 Releases from Lancome!
Skin is the key trend for 2014, and that forces us all to take note of things like sincare, foundations, concealers, and - BLUSH!
Lancôme is launching Blush Subtil in 6 shades (shades may vary from country to country so check with local counters for more info!). To make it easier for you to remember, there will be 2 rose-tones (numbered in 20s), 3 corals (numbered in 30s), and 1 neutral (numbered in 40s).
These shades are super pigmented and you hardly need any product to get great payoff. Some of the strong shades are also perfect for darker skins and will not look chalky or unnatural.
At time of writing, the 2nd rose shade is not available for swatching and reviewing.
My absolute favorites of the bunch are 030, a soft coral with a gorgeous gold sheen, and 021 a bright candy pink.
There is also a new foundation to be released in Asia, Blanc Miracle, which contains SPF50 and ingredients to help prevent and treat discolorations and uneven tones. It also has a new “smart” technology which allows just the right amount of liquid solvents in the foundation to evaporate after it’s applied, so it’s neither too tacky nor too moist for your skin.
Next is a neat little concealer compact, Le Correcteur Pro, similar to the dual-color Palette Pro compact available previously only in Europe, except this not only contains a corrector shade and a concealer shade; it also comes with a matching setting powder. Le Correcteur Pro will be available in 4 shades in Singapore.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST!
For ladies in Asia, there will be an upgraded Blanc Expert Spot Eraser, which contains newer ingredients to quickly reduce discolorations and marks caused by sun exposure or acne. If you’re in Europe, the Pacific, and the Americas it might be harder to come across spot correctors or all the “white” ranges brought out by brands for the Asian market.
If you ever drop by one of the Asian cities make sure you check it out! I recommend them just because anything that is targeted at treating marks and uneven tones, like the “white” ranges, always contain powerful anti-oxidant and skin repair ingredients, which are great for everyone. As mentioned before, these aren’t created to bleach the skin. They are just designed to improve radiance and tone, and protect from further sun damage.
