Salvation Army Jewelry Haul [ 5.19.12 ] - DETAILS (Part 2)
Shoe Haul: Xhilaration “Silverleaf” Leopard Wedges
OMGAH, I DIE! Are you dying along with me? These are my new babies & are my other summer staples. Saw these on the Target website just like the Petene Sandals & was waiting for them to appear at my local Target. I didn’t want to get my hopes up because my Target is usually a hit or miss when it comes to having the items I want in store, but I was pleasantly surprised that I found them. Unfortunately, they had no more size 8’s left & there was only one pair of 8.5 left so I decided to try them on. To be honest, a Size 8 would’ve fit much better, but I figured a half size isn’t that big of a difference. I loved them too much to pass them up & didn’t want to order them online & have to wait, so I bought them. These were $29.99, which is not bad at all & they’re SUPER comfortable, due to the sole & the almost 2-inch platform.
Shoe Haul: Mossimo “Petene” Sandals in Cobalt
I was eyeing these sandals weeks prior to finding them at my local Target. Saw them, tried them on & loved them. Despite loving them, I decided to wait another week or so because Target’s shoes go on clearance fairly quickly. Lo & behold, I go back about 2 weeks later & they were on clearance for $20.98 (originally $29.99)! So I did what any person in their right mind would do, I bought them! ( DUH! :p ) The color is amazing & it’s fairly comfortable. My feet do kind of slide down, but that’s nothing an insert can’t fix. These will definitely be summer staples for me, along with the next pair of shoes that I got. ;)
My New H&M Necklace
- I’ve been looking for this necklace & was so happy when I found it at Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego yesterday. It’s kind of difficult to photograph the accurate color, but nonetheless, it’s much more beautiful in person. Such a great statement piece & super affordable; $12.95 !

Small Target & 99¢ Store Haul
Despite failed attempts with falsies back in my high school days due to lack of knowledge, I decided that I wanted to try wearing falsies again, so I went to Target to see if they had lash glue. Lo & behold, they had the DUO Dark Tone Lash Adhesive. After I saw that, I decided to browse around & decided to pick up 2 Sinful Colors Polishes. “24/7” which is the neon pink, which I already have, but it was running out so I decided to pick up another one. It’s honestly the prettiest neon pink ever! Perfect color for your toes! ;) “Aquamarine” is a gorgeous blue & I picked it since I don’t currently own colors like it.
After Target, I decided to drop by the 99¢ store to pick up some lashes. I already had some at home, but I wanted to stock up just in case. Only picked up 2 pairs: S47 & S99. Also decided to browse a little & saw 2 trays full of Revlon lip products. To my surprise, there were alot of Colorstay lip products. Never tried them before, so I decided to try out a few. They usually retail around $9-10, depending on where you get them, so for 99¢, I couldn’t resist. I wound up getting:
• Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze in Neverending Nude (505)
• Colorstay Soft & Smooth Lipcolor in Plush Peony (260)
• Creme Gloss in Fiercely Fuchsia (020)
Since I’m a lipstick junkie, my fave out of the three is the Colorstay Soft & Smooth. It’s creamy & applies so smoothly. Definitely thinking about going back & getting more shades. I’m not sure if all 99¢ stores have these Revlon products since each one varies, but I suggest you RUN to your local store if you have one just to see. Such a great deal!

Salvation Army Thrift Haul - [ 1.20.12 ] Part 2
After months of renovation, my local Salvation Army finally re-opened on January 12th. While the Salvation Army was under renovation, I had been going to the Goodwill to fill that void. Now that my baby’s back in business, I couldn’t be happier. The Goodwill is cool & all but the Salvation Army is where I started thrifting & grew a passion for it. To me, they have better deals because unlike the Goodwill who only has certain tags for 50% off, the Salvation Army usually has sales throughout all departments in the store. Sometimes, they even have 75% OFF! Yes the prices vary, but the selection is far greater at the Salvation Army. On this particular day, the 50% Off Grand Re-Opening Week Sale was still going on, so you know I was excited. Here’s what I ended up purchasing:
- Sheer Black Floral Long-Sleeved Blouse - $6.05 x .5 ≈ $3.03
- Black Velvet Maxi Skirt with Side Slits - $10.05 x .5 ≈ $5.03
- Red Chunky Knit Sweater - $5.45 x .5 ≈ $2.73
- Blue Jeggings - $8.95 x .5 ≈ $4.48
- Gold Metallic Thread Cardigan - $5.95 x .5 ≈ $2.98
- Blue Abstract Print Tank - $4.50 x .5 ≈ $2.25
Grand Total ≈ $20.50 | PART 1
